Driver Ready Mix Trainee

As a Ready-Mix Driver Trainee, you will be trained to operate concrete mixers to deliver ready-mix concrete to various job sites. This role will require you to work in diverse environments and navigate various site conditions, including uneven ground. You will also be trained to discharge loads safely and manage extension chutes, which may weigh thirty to fifty pounds.

Your daily responsibilities will include punctuality, safe operation, safety & compliance, delivery & timing, load inspection & adjustments, concrete mix quality, equipment maintenance, customer service, and team coordination.

To succeed in this role, you should bring educational and licensing requirements, valid commercial driver's license (CDL A or

B), high school diploma preferred, and a strong understanding of safety protocols related to the construction and transportation industry. You should also have strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and guidance from supervisors.

Working conditions include wearing protective equipment and adhering to safety protocols, working in diverse environments, and physical requirements such as frequent walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing.
