Job Summary

Food Receiver Driver will perform extensive kitchen equipment inspections to ensure units are running at optimum efficiency. Maintenance issues will need to be documented through our task tool system. You will investigate open reports, follow up with onsite engineer technician to see if issues were resolved, and provide updates.

Perform basic maintenance (i.e. replace light bulbs, build carts/cambro shelves, remove/replace/inflate cart tires/speed racks, etc). You will work closely with other teams outside of culinary and approved on-board vendors. Work with vendors regarding equipment purchases and follow up on procurement of supplies. Verifies materials received are as ordered and routes incoming items to appropriate teams/location in a safe, orderly and timely manner.

Must update order reports by providing details of delivery and upload invoices properly onto the report.

Must have driver's license to operate electric vehicles, vans, box trucks, food trucks, food trailers/carts, and/or tow trucks. Handle food truck logistics from driving, removal of grease water, refill water, diesel, gas, propane, and weekly/monthly wash. May be assigned to plan and lead equipment related projects. Essential Functions
  • The person needs to be able to work and communicate with various on-site vendors to be able to complete tasks/projects that impact the culinary operation. Be presentable and can communicate effectively with cross-departmental staff.
  • Maintain a high level of service and accurate operation procedures
  • Conduct daily inspection of all kitchen equipment to ensure its working properly and reporting all issues
  • Investigate open reports and provide updates
  • Assist with triaging work tickets when needed
  • Work with vendors regarding equipment purchases and procurement of supplies
  • Verifies materials received are as ordered and routes incoming items to appropriate teams/location
  • Operate dolly, cart, and/or pallet jack when loading and unloading equipment supplies
  • Operate electric vehicles, vans, box trucks, food trucks, food trailers/carts, and/or tow trucks
Knowledge and Skills

  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment
  • Type 45 WPM
  • Basic computer and Microsoft program knowledge:
    Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Publisher, etc.

  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation

Education and Work Experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Light to Advanced experience in the Culinary Industry
  • 1+ year experience in a food service operation as an Equipment Coordinator
Requirements
  • Must have and maintain an active Food Handlers Card, as required by the State Health Department.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
