Seasonal / Temporary Warehouse Associate
Your Impact The Warehouse Associate II is primarily responsible for working in the Receiving department, picking, pulling, receiving, labeling, and stocking purchase orders within the specified time frame. The role requires handling product safely and maintaining product quality.
What You Will Do- Operate power equipment such as forklifts to unload deliveries and organize received items in appropriate storage areas.
- Receive purchase orders efficiently and accurately, checking for damage and comparing orders with invoices or packing lists.
- Pull products from warehouse shelves based on item number, size, color, and quantity requirements.
- Packs and stages completed purchase orders for delivery.
- Verify accuracy of items picked and staged for delivery by other associates.
- Meet or exceed performance expectations by completing all receiving tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Cross‑train and perform tasks in picking, pulling, labeling, shipping, and delivery support as assigned by management.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent general studies or trade school graduate.
- 1–2 years of experience in distribution center operations or prior warehouse experience.
- Physical ability to move continuously, lift up to 40 pounds, and operate power equipment.
- Adherence to safety protocols, wearing required personal protective equipment.
- Capability to work in varying conditions, including extreme temperatures and noisy environments.
- Strong safety orientation and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or yard trucks.
- Experience performing detail‑oriented tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Spatial reasoning skills for positioning product effectively.
- $20.60 – $25.25 per hour (starting rate may vary based on position, location, education, training, and experience).
