The School Psychological Services Administrative Coordinator reports to the Assistant Directors of Special Education and is accountable for supporting and overseeing the delivery of school psychological services within the Special Education Department. This position supports the recruitment, onboarding, training and supervision of School Psychology interns, and serves as a resource to School Psychologists, Education Specialists, Administrators, and educational teams to ensure students receive appropriate psycho educational assessment, IEP, and counseling support.
The Coordinator collaborates closely with School Psychologists to support student assessments, psychological reports, IEP participation, counseling services, and multidisciplinary team processes. They will provide direct guidance, counseling, training, intern supervision, and psychological service coordination. They may conduct assessments, prepare reports, and provide compliance oversight to ensure services align with best practices, PPS credentialing standards, and applicable laws and regulations.
