Manufacturing Accountant; Senior

Acara Solutions is seeking an Manufacturing Accountant (Senior) with strong ERP experience to lead manufacturing accounting and financial operations for our client located in San Jose CA 95131. This is a Full Time Direct Hire opportunity.

This role owns cost accounting, inventory, WIP, and production reporting, ensuring data integrity from the shop floor through the general ledger. The ideal candidate understands manufacturing economics, can explain the "why" behind the numbers, and knows how to optimize the ERP system for accurate, timely reporting.

• Own job costing, standard costing, and variance analysis using ERP system
• Manage inventory and WIP accounting, ensuring accurate valuation of raw materials and finished goods
• Maintain and audit Epicor posting rules, GL controls, and fiscal calendars
• Lead month-end close, reconciling AP, AR, inventory, and production transactions
• Prepare monthly financial statements using ERP Financial Management, dashboards, BAQs, and SSRS
• Partner with Engineering and Operations to audit BOMs, routings, and labor standards
• Support ERP optimization initiatives to improve reporting speed, accuracy, and visibility
• Provide support for audits, internal controls, and management reporting

Required Skills /

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance

Preferred Skills /

Qualifications:

• Strong background in manufacturing accounting, including standard costing, variances, inventory, and WIP
• Proficiency with Epicor Dashboards, BAQs, SSRS, and advanced Excel
• Experience working closely with plant operations and production teams
