Purpose:

** This position will report to the General Ledger Team Leader and will be accountable for all accounting matters of the legal entity including preparation of statutory and USGAAP financial statements and oversight of all other reporting activities.

The role includes performing month-end accounting activities, sox controls, support to market and other areas involved and impacting the financials. Also assist in auditing activities by providing all necessary information required by auditors and will act as a first point of contact in terms of accounting matters.
** Responsibilities:
*** Manage month end processes to facilitate the review of the upper management as an effort to guarantee financial statements accuracy.
* Oversee all accounting across the legal entity operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
* Act as a point of contact for technical accounting queries for their assigned markets.
* Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements in line with local and US GAAP.
* Manage and comply with all local accounting and reporting requirements.
* Prepare and support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities.
* Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
* Coordinate and support the execution of activities related to internal and external audit requirements.
* Provide periodic internal and external reports and support ad hoc data request from management or markets.
* Ensure robust compliance environment with SOX, internal controls, accounting policies and procedures.
** Experience, Skills, Knowledge:
*** Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting
* Minimum 4+ years of related accounting experience.
* Advance level in Business/Accounting English (B2).
* Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis and problem solving.
* Experience with ERP as SAP, HFM, Blackline and others.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in Excel.
* Experience in process improvement is a plus
