Cost Accounting Manager; Manufacturing

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager (Manufacturing) to join their team. As a Cost Accounting Manager (Manufacturing), you will be part of the Finance Department supporting operational excellence and financial integrity. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, proactive problem‑solving, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Cost Accounting Manager (Manufacturing)

San Jose, California

• Lead and oversee manufacturing cost accounting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Support inventory valuation and analyze manufacturing variances to optimize cost efficiency
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams during ERP transformation projects, including SAP S/4
  
  HANA implementation
• Document and design current and future state manufacturing processes to enhance operational workflows
• Assist with limited month‑end closing activities, providing insights and support as needed

• 7+ years of experience in Operations Finance or Cost Accounting within manufacturing environments
• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost flows and inventory accounting principles
• Experience working with complex manufacturing processes, preferably in the semiconductor industry
• Knowledge of ERP systems, with prior exposure to SAP S/4
  
  HANA or similar platforms
• Excellent communication skills and a business‑first mindset, emphasizing collaboration and process improvement
