Financial Close & Accounting Operations
- Support monthly and quarterly general ledger close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses
- Monitor key balance sheet accounts and investigate variances
- Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports
- Develop supporting schedules and documentation for financial disclosures
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance
- Conduct research on complex accounting issues
- Prepare technical accounting documentation and internal memos
- Support implementation of new accounting policies and standards
- Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements
- Support internal control testing and documentation
- Assist with accounting system improvements and automation initiatives
- Partner with external and internal auditors
- Ensure timely resolution of audit inquiries
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Big 4 public accounting (U.S.)
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with month‑end close and general ledger accounting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CPA certification or CPA track
- Experience supporting public company financial reporting
- Background working with SEC filings
- Experience collaborating with cross‑functional corporate teams
