Accountant, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections, Accounting Assistant

Johnson Service Group is looking for an Accountant to work with one of our clients in San Jose.

• Process employee expense reimbursements and credit card expense reports in accordance with company policy.
• Process daily cash receipts and deposits; scan and upload supporting documentation.
• Prepare journal entries for cash receipts, revenue, property taxes, allocations, and reclasses.
• Audit cash disbursements.
• Reconcile general ledger and procurement credit card accounts.
• Respond to internal and external customer inquiries.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting or a related field.
• One (1) year of professional accounting experience.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and ERP/accounting systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Valid CA driver's license.
• Contract full‑time, $39.50 per hour.
