As an Audit Senior Associate at Baker Tilly US (BT), you will work as a valued business advisor, delivering industry‑focused audit and assurance services to middle‑market clients. Responsibilities- Be a trusted member of the engagement team, providing assurance and consulting services to industry‑specific clients.
- Proactively engage with clients throughout the year to gather information, complete testing, and respond to questions.
- Plan and supervise the execution of all audit engagement activities.
- Review and perform substantive testing on client balance sheets and income statements.
- Conduct and review tests to assess deficiencies of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in discussions with the Manager and Partner regarding business recommendations resulting from testing.
- Learn and grow through direct coaching, mentoring, and firm‑wide learning and development programs.
- Network and build strong relationships internally and with clients, utilizing entrepreneurial skills.
- Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy.

- 4‑year degree required; CPA preferred or actively pursuing CPA certification (eligible to sit for the CPA exam).
- Three (3) years of audit/assurance experience with clients.
- Prefer experience with technology, communications, or life sciences industries.
- Strong time‑management, communication, interpersonal, relationship‑building, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
- Leadership, project‑management, organizational, analytical skills, initiative, and adaptability.
- Microsoft Suite proficiency.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.
The pay rate for this position ranges from $98,000 to $128,690. Compensation is influenced by factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, and location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.
