Revenue Accounting Manager

Position: Manager / Senior Manager - Record to Report

Location: San Jose, CA (HYBRID)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Record to Report (R2R) to support a U.S.

-based client with accounting cleanup, financial close, and month-end activities. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in general accounting, Record to Report processes, US GAAP, and Oracle Fusion ERP
.

This is a client-facing role requiring the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage tight deadlines, and consistently deliver accurate financial results.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review Record to Report (R2R) and general accounting activities.
• Perform general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end close activities.
• Prepare and review balance sheet and P&L reports
  .
• Complete balance sheet and bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support fixed asset accounting
  , including capitalization, depreciation, and amortization.
• Perform intercompany accounting and reconciliations
  .
• Support accounting cleanup, remediation, and financial process stabilization activities.
• Analyze account balances and resolve accounting issues promptly.
• Support the preparation of consolidated month-end financial reports within the ERP system.
• Perform variance analysis and provide commentary on actuals versus forecasts and budgets.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to ensure timely financial close and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, financial regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements

• Support internal and external audits as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
  .
• CPA strongly preferred
  ; CA or MBA may also be considered.
• 8–10+ years of experience in Record to Report (R2R), General Ledger, and financial accounting
  .
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion / Oracle Cloud ERP
  .
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience supporting U.S.
  
  -based clients.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and accounting cleanup
  .
• Ability to work independently and deliver accurate results under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and client-facing/stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a shared services or BPO environment

• Experience with accounting cleanup, financial remediation, or process stabilization projects.
• Exposure to internal/external audits and regulatory compliance
  .
• Prior experience working with U.S.
  
  -based accounting and financial reporting processes.
