Salary Range: $83,000 - $93,000 annually

About the Opportunity
Our client, a global leader in advanced manufacturing and technology solutions, is seeking a Cost Control Specialist to join their team in San Jose, CA. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a finance-focused professional to support manufacturing operations through cost analysis, financial reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate will have experience in cost control, operational finance, supply chain, or accounting functions and thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor operational costs and support monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) analysis.
- Conduct cost tracking and variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and cost‑saving opportunities.
- Coordinate Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities and support procurement processes.
- Partner with operations and manufacturing teams to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Assist with billing activities, inventory monitoring, and expense tracking.
- Prepare financial reports and analyze data using SAP, Excel, and other reporting tools.
- Support management with financial insights, reporting, and ad‑hoc analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in cost analysis, finance, supply chain, operations support, or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.
- Experience supporting AP/AR processes.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
- Mandarin language proficiency required.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or production environments.
- Knowledge of P&L reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Experience with SAP ERP systems.
- Exposure to data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL, or Python.
