THE PRODUCTION TEAM

The Production Team is responsible for overseeing Cupertino Electric’s Field workforce, ensuring that all projects are executed with the high standards of safety, productivity, scheduling, quality and cost control. ABOUT

THE ROLE

The Production Administrative Assistant will play a key role in supporting the administrative functions of the Production Department in our San Jose office. This position will be cross‑trained to assist with a variety of tasks including union workforce dispatch support, employee record updates, in‑person onboarding assistance, event coordination, and general administrative support.

The primary focus of this position is to assist the Administrative Coordinator in processing union new hire records. This is a high‑volume, data‑driven role that requires exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and speed. Strong keyboarding skills and the ability to focus on repetitive data entry tasks for extended periods are essential.

  • Support the processing of union new hire records for the organization with speed and accuracy.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating personnel files and employee records in various platforms.
  • Greet new hires and support in‑person onboarding processes.
  • Assist with union dispatch support, including employee tracking and document updates.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for Production Department events and meetings.
  • Perform data entry and file management in accordance with department standards.
  • Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of shared tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
ABOUT YOU
  • Proficient Microsoft application skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential data with integrity
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Education: HS grad or GED required.

Experience: Minimum 2–4 yrs. experience in a similar role, construction experience preferred.
