Mayfair Golden Manor (MGM) is an independent living senior/disabled housing cooperative that has 210 units with over 260 residents.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about assisting our residents as well as having experience in an office setting and have exceptional filing skills. Communication skills are essential to maintain respectful relationships with residents and team members.

This is a temporary part-time role to assist with an active office transition, with the distinct possibility of evolving into a permanent part-time position if offered.

Responsibilities

Assist office staff and residents with the daily operation of Mayfair Golden Manor. Some duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Answer phones and front door with a positive attitude and exceptional manners.
  • Assist the office with completion of projects that range from: resident files, data entry using Excel, processing rental payments monthly, and engaging with the residents in a professional/kind manner.
  • Daily organization of paperwork and files.
  • Flexibility to take on extra job duties given by Management.
Qualifications
  • Compassion for and desire to work with a senior population.
  • Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work with a team and independently.
  • Must have ability to innovate, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and handle difficult situations.
  • Must be a professional, proactive, collaborative, and responsible individual.
  • Must have a positive demeanor, a motivation to learn, and flexibility to change.
  • Proficient experience with Windows Word, Outlook, and Excel (PowerPoint and Publisher a plus).
  • Must possess a valid California Driver’s License and have reliable transportation.
  • Knowledge of Real Page One Site preferred, but we will train.
Schedule & Hours
  • Hours: 24 hours per week.
  • Operational Office

    Hours:

    Monday through Thursday (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | Friday (8:30 AM – 4:00 PM).

    Note:

    The office is closed daily for lunch from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Exact shift schedule within these hours to be determined upon hire.

  • Benefits:
    As a part-time transitional role, this position is not eligible for medical, dental, vision, or retirement benefits.
  • Holiday Pay:
    Paid holidays that fall on your normally scheduled work days.
