Position: Sales Support Specialist 1

Job Summary

The Sales Support Specialist will assist one of our sales teams in managing customers and their orders. The role acts as a liaison across internal departments, provides product information to customers, and supports account maintenance. Responsibilities include technical and administrative product information, daily sales order processing, and data entry.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Manage sales account maintenance and provide technical and administrative product information.
  • Perform daily clerical and office maintenance tasks, such as typing correspondence, coordinating, data entry, quotations, and process documents.
  • Monitor inventory and follow up ETA with purchasers.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, purchasing, production, procurement, and logistics departments.
  • Assist intra‑company project coordination between sales and non‑sales departments.
  • Enter, monitor, and communicate directly with clients regarding status of their orders, facilitate credit issues and negotiate returns.
  • Develop superior customer service relationships with prospects.
  • Produce daily reports for clients.
  • Serve as back‑up for the supervisor and team members.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by supervisors.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of direct, related sales support experience.
  • Experience in data entry, scheduling production, and tracking orders.
  • Strong professional communication skills, including phone, written/email, and presentation.
  • Experience in customer service and dealing with clients directly; problem‑solving skills.
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding assigned jobs.
  • Strong computer skills with Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
Salary Range

$75,000 - $85,000. Compensation adjustments may depend on location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in this role. Additional benefits and compensation options, such as bonus and equity award programs, may apply.
