We are seeking an experienced, successful, and engaged Dispatcher to join our team. This position is expected to work out of our office at 625 Charles St., San Jose.
Position SummaryGreen Waste is seeking to fill the position of Dispatcher to provide support to one or more facilities. This role's main function will administer the day-to-day functions, help dispatch drivers, data entry, and front desk reception work.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer and company information. Maintain accurate dispatch logs, work orders, and service records, including data entry of weight tags and service information.
- Review and reconcile all weight tags and work order charges to release monthly billing.
- Review work orders for accuracy and print daily paperwork.
- Re-route and re-sequence routes as needed.
- Respond promptly to customer service requests, missed pickups, and service exceptions, ensuring timely resolution.
- Communicate and coordinate with operations teams, supervisors, and field staff to ensure seamless execution of daily operations. Support front desk operations and manage inbound calls, emails, and correspondence as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to work with senior management, supervisors, and employees.
- Ability to keep information confidential
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software
- Ability to Multitask efficiently and remain organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- At least one (1) year of administrative experience.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to physically push, pull and lift objects up to 15 lbs.
