A Category Manager is responsible for driving GMV growth within specific categories by developing category strategies, recruiting sellers, and optimizing product assortment. They analyze trends, manage seller performance, and collaborate with marketing to improve buyer experience.

• Strategy Development:
  Creating and implementing long‑term growth plans for categories (e.g., Home & Garden categories).
• Seller Management:
  Onboarding, managing, and coaching high‑potential sellers to drive performance and sales.
• Category Growth:
  Using data analytics to identify trends, manage inventory, and improve product visibility.
• Cross‑Functional
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Working with Product, Marketing, and Operations to enhance the shopping experience.

• Experience:
  
  5+ years in e-commerce, merchandising, or related fields.

  Ability to analyze market trends and performance metrics.

  Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Platform Knowledge:
  Familiarity with online marketplaces and seller tools.

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $57.34 - $57.34/hr non‑exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
