Salary Range: $37.00/hour to $49.00/hour

The Legal and Risk Management team is responsible for all legal and legal-related matters such as litigation, contracts, compliance, and driving record policies. This is a diverse, complex, and often unpredictable portfolio of challenges.
AboutThe Role
We are offering this exciting opportunity to join our Contracts group working on complex tasks for our 70-year-old company with over two billion dollars in annual revenue, and a workforce of over 3,000. Reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager, the Contracts Administrator will be responsible for coordinating the interdisciplinary exchange, review, and negotiation of contracts and subcontracts for division construction operations teams.
- Proactive member of the contracts team that assists in the timely organization, distribution and completion of contract documents and bid documents for review by the interdisciplinary contract review/approval team.
- Preparation and compilation of contract documents and comments from the review team and preparation of proposed amendments, modifications or redlines to customer contracts.
- Track and maintain company contracts and other records maintained by contracts team.
- Research, preparation and filing of preliminary lien notices.
- Preparation, recording and tracking of construction collection remedies.
- Prepare draft agreements for issuance to subcontractors while consulting with division Contract Manager.
- Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
- Valid Notary Public certification preferred.
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and practical.
- Able to function well in a face-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Able to prioritize and perform responsibilities with minimal oversight.
- Collaborative team player.
- Construction industry experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Demonstrated contracts administration experience, with a minimum 2 years’ experience.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team and to assist with organizational change.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Docu Sign, and Adobe Acrobat experience required.
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education: BA or equivalent experience required.
Experience: Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of contracts administration experience.
