The Business Integrity team's mission is to uphold ethical advertising on Tik Tok, and we're looking for teammates who are passionate about fostering best faith business practices toward our global audience.

Product Managers in Business Integrity will be part of an experienced team, working alongside experts in engineering, data science, operations and policy. At the same time, new team members will also be joining an initiative that has only just gotten started--we have far more questions than answers--even as new challenges appear each day. Thus, candidates must be hungry for perspective when forming their product hypotheses in driving those hypotheses toward tangible results.

As a Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful short-term projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. This internship offers the opportunity to develop practical skills, apply your knowledge to real-world challenges, and explore your career interests. Responsibilities:

- Define business problems, goals and product solutions of Tik Tok ads Integrity that keeps our users from violated ads
- Be responsible for building risk control strategy platform that enable the team to improve the risk detection and enforcement capabilities.

- Learn from users' feedback, case analysis and measurements to find new opportunities
- Continuously incorporate cross-functional teams and drive the team's success

Minimum Qualifications:

- Currently pursuing a MBA degree.

- Experience building backend platform or tooling products
- Experience working side-by-side with engineers
- Experience synthesizing data both quantitative and qualitative to inform product decisions
- Available to work at least three days per week under a hybrid arrangement in San Jose office.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Fluency in both English and Mandarin required: the role involves frequent communication with global teams, clients and stakeholders in English-speaking regions as well as Chinese-speaking markets. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to effectively engage with Chinese-speaking partners, understand cultural nuances, and navigate business transactions in key markets, ensuring smooth cross-cultural collaboration and market expansion.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Preferred experience in product management, having launched a product from 0-1
- Outstanding interpersonal skills communicating both in person and in writing
- Ability to influence without authority
- Intellectual humility, honesty and curiosity

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $55- $55.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
