: 6/15/2026 (Mon) – 8/07/2026 (Fri) (adds additional weekends for setup, breakdown, and orientation)
Camp Hours
: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (actual shifts will vary)
Hourly Wage
: $23.00 – $25.50 per hour, depending on experience and other relevant factors.

Staff members facilitate activities, build connections, and monitor safety and wellness. Roles may involve creating and overseeing activity spaces where campers self‑select activities, or rotating support roles across the camp. Typical activities include sewing, stop‑motion animation, maker space, performing arts, arts and crafts, lounging, recreation, and more.
- Actively supervise campers.
- Maintain an organized and approachable activity space.
- Ensure compliance with Camp Policies.
- Report and record notable concerns, incidents, and injuries.
- Track and be aware of camper allergies and dietary restrictions.
- Add daily updates and photos to camper profiles.
- Minimum 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
- Minimum two months of experience in a camp or one year in an education/child‑care setting.
- Permission for Steve & Kate’s to email or text applicants.
- Availability to chaperone campers on off‑site field trips.
Job Requirements
- Past management or leadership experience preferred.
- Physical demands: extended periods on your feet, outdoor work, occasional physical exertion.
- Preferred: meets local Camp Director qualifications or prior Steve & Kate’s employee.
Compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local health and safety regulations. Responsible for supervising, caring for, and providing program delivery to school‑aged campers in a safe environment.
- Maintain and follow safety and health rules.
- Organize and maintain clean activity spaces.
- Assist in camp set‑up and breakdown.
- Stand for long periods while supervising and facilitating activities.
- Participate in athletic games.
- Eligible for sick time as local regulations require.
