Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. AE Builders is an owner-operated construction firm, and you will work closely with the owner to build multiple projects at the same time.

• Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and building codes.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets while maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.
• Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to coordinate work schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities effectively.
• Utilize construction estimating techniques to prepare accurate cost assessments for projects.
• Maintain detailed records of project progress, including daily logs and reports on work completed.
• Ensure all contractual obligations are met by reviewing contracts and managing compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

• Proven experience as a Tenant Improvement Construction Superintendent
• Ability to use iPad and some technical ability with computers
• Ability to run multiple projects at the same time.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles, practices, and procedures.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics is essential.
• Familiarity with construction estimating software such as Bluebeam is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
