Summary
A growing construction company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support its project management team in delivering ground-up commercial construction projects
. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial construction, with a focus on project coordination, and a strong ability to manage timelines, budgets, and subcontractors.
Project experience may include ground-up multifamily, apartments, condominiums, affordable housing, and commercial rehab projects. Proficiency in Procore and MS Project is required. This role offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing ground-up commercial construction projects.
- Support the Project Manager in meeting safety, quality, and budget objectives.
- Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contracts.
- Maintain and monitor project schedules to meet milestones.
- Assist with procurement and coordination of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Track and report project budgets and financials.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, local regulations, and safety protocols.
- 2+ years of experience in commercial construction, particularly ground-up projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Experience with ground-up multifamily, apartments, condominiums, affordable housing, and commercial rehab projects is a plus.
- Proficiency in Procore and MS Project is required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred but not required.
