Construction Project Manager / Delivery Manager

Comrise is seeking an experienced, hands-on Construction Project Manager / Delivery Manager to join a premier, California-based innovator in high-end residential construction, Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), prefab housing, and cutting-edge space products.

This is not a traditional, purely administrative office PM role. We need a driving force—someone who can actively coordinate construction execution, work closely with field teams, push subcontractors, identify site risks early, and aggressively keep projects moving from the initial design/permit phase through final installation and client delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Delivery: Own the execution and construction coordination for Bay Area residential, prefab, and ADU projects from initial kickoff to final hand-off.
• Field & Office Synchronization: Serve as the central bridge between office planning/design teams and field reality, keeping all parties aligned.
• On-Site Coordination: Actively manage and coordinate construction sequences across superintendents, sub-contractors, inspectors, vendors, and internal procurement teams.
• Schedule & Timeline Discipline: Maintain rigorous control over project schedules, construction milestones, site readiness parameters, inspections, and installation timelines.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify field risks early—including unpredictable site conditions, utility connection issues, inspection delays, subcontractor capacity gaps, and change-order risks.
• Reporting & Process Building: Keep immaculate project documentation, action item lists, and schedules. Help build and scale repeatable construction SOPs, checklists, and reporting rhythms.
• Stakeholder Management: Support direct client communication by delivering highly accurate construction progress updates and professionally managing expectations.

You are a highly structured, construction-literate professional who thrives on driving accountability across multiple parties. You are just as comfortable talking sequencing with a field crew or superintendent on a muddy job site as you are presenting timeline updates to executive leadership. You don't just report problems—you bring immediate, practical solutions to the table to push the project forward.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ Years of Dedicated Experience in residential construction project management, construction coordination, operations, ADUs, modular, prefab, or related building environments.
• Execution Literacy: Strong, practical understanding of residential construction sequencing, site logistics, subcontractor management, and local inspection processes.
• Multi-Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple active job sites simultaneously with clear schedule discipline and aggressive follow-up.
• Mobility: Must be able and willing to travel to active job sites across the Bay Area as needed.
• Exceptional Communication: Strong issue-resolution, tactical escalation, and communication skills within fast-moving, evolving company environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct, hands-on experience with ADUs, prefab, modular housing, or residential infill projects.
• Existing familiarity with Bay Area residential construction environments, local building codes, and municipal permitting.
• Bilingual capability (Spanish-speaking) for seamless field crew and subcontractor coordination.
• Direct experience working with Mexican / Latin American construction teams.
• Strong proficiency with modern construction scheduling software, CRM/project management tools, and structured status reporting.
• Background operating as a Construction PM, Assistant PM, Superintendent, Field Coordinator, or Construction Operations Manager.
