Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and deliver commercial and industrial construction projects safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will oversee project planning, coordinate subcontractors and trades, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure quality control and regulatory compliance. Strong background in commercial construction and mechanical systems (HVAC, sheet metal, hydronic piping) is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading end-to-end project delivery for commercial and industrial construction projects, from pre-construction through closeout.
• Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and forecasts; monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinating and supervising subcontractors, trades, and on-site personnel; managing procurement and material deliveries.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and contract specifications; conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments.
• Collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve design and scope issues promptly.
• Preparing and reviewing project documentation including RFIs, change orders, submittals, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
• Implementing quality control processes to ensure workmanship meets company and client standards.
• Managing project invoicing, cost tracking, and contractor payment processes; supporting claims and dispute resolution when necessary.
• Mentoring and guiding junior project staff; fostering a culture of continuous improvement and effective communication.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial and/or industrial construction.
• Proven experience managing projects involving HVAC, sheet metal, hydronic systems, and piping.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), and budget management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills; ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA) and local building codes.
• Experience with contract administration, change order management, and project documentation.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or LEED are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel to project sites as required.
