Senior Project Manager

We would like to add an experienced Senior Project Manager to our team to work within the established culture and guidelines of the Company at our Silicon Valley Office. Qualified candidates will have extensive Bay Area business knowledge and experience, as well as strong communication and IT skills, demonstrated leadership and at least 10 years of prior experience managing challenging projects.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Participateinpre-constructionactivitiesasneeded
- Actasliaisonwiththeclient,architect,consultants,andthe
Department of Building Inspection - Interfacewithsitesupervisors;lookforandimplementinnovativeconstructionmethods
- Prepareandmaintainprojectschedules
- Prepareprojectdocuments–clientchangeorders,subcontracts,subcontractorchangeorders,meeting minutes,letters,memorandums,notices,etc.
- Provideassistancecoordinatingwithonsitecontractorsinplanningandcoordinatingthestagesofconnectingnewsystemswithexistingutilitysystems
- Controlandmonitorsubcontractorsandmonitortheirperformance
- Managecostchanges,tracklegitimatechangeordersrequests,compilefairpricingforworkandforecastfinancialresultsaccurately
- Reviewandexpeditesubmittalsandmaterials
- Monitorcriticalmaterialitemsanddeliveries
- Maintainqualitycontrolandproductionefficiency
- Maintainimmediateanddirectresponsibilityforproductionphasesoftheproject;resolveproductionproblems
- Overseethatjobsitesafetyproceduresarebeingfollowed
- Providefeedbackonproductioncoststothe Estimating Department

Minimum Skillsor Experience Requirements :
- Bachelorcollegedegree,in Construction
Management,Civil Engineeringor Architectureisrequired (advanceddegreeortrainingfavored) - Minimumoftenyearsconstruction-relatedexperienceisrequiredoverseeingprojectsvaluing $50
