Status: Full-time
Compensation: $19 - $24 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: 4 10-hour days

At Oakridge Veterinary Clinic, our Client Service Representatives are an essential part of the hospital team. As the first and last point of contact for many of our clients, you’ll set the tone for every visit with friendly, compassionate,professional service.

From answering phones and coordinating appointments to checking patients in and out, processing payments, and helping pet owners navigate their veterinary care, you’ll play an important role in keeping communication clear and the hospital running smoothly. What Our Client Service Representatives Do

• Provide friendly, compassionate, and professional service to the clients and patients of Oakridge Veterinary Clinic
• Welcome clients and patients to the hospital and create a positive first impression
• Answer incoming calls, determine client needs, and direct calls to the appropriate team member
• Respond to routine questions about hospital services and general pet‑care information within your training and role
• Follow established hospital protocols when clients report urgent or acute symptoms and connect them with the appropriate medical team member
• Remain calm and reassuring when assisting distressed or concerned pet owners
• Schedule appointments and collect necessary information about patients and their owners
• Prepare records, forms, estimates, consent documents, and other materials before appointments when possible
• Check clients and patients in for appointments
• Support the patient discharge process and ensure required information is complete
• Schedule follow‑up appointments and update future reminders as needed
• Provide clients with medications and discharge instructions prepared or approved by the medical team
• Enter charges, collect payments, make change, and process credit card transactions
• Assist with cash drawer reconciliation and end‑of‑day transactions
• Help clients with approved over‑the‑counter pet‑care products and merchandise
