We partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Business teams to solve complex problems and craft experiences that showcase Tik Tok Ads Manager's unique capabilities.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior or Lead Product Designer to help design and evolve Tik Tok Ads Manager, a mission-critical platform that powers billions of dollars in global advertising spend.

This is a hands‑on role for a product designer who enjoys owning complex problems end‑to‑end — from deep user understanding to polished execution — and who thrives in highly collaborative, fast‑moving environments.

You’ll design experiences used daily by millions of advertisers, shaping how campaigns are created, optimized, and measured at massive scale.

In this role, you will:

  • Own end‑to‑end design for Tik Tok Ads Manager and platform workflows — from core user problems to shipped, high‑quality experiences.
  • Develop a deep understanding of user needs by leveraging research, data, and mixed feedback methods.
  • Create early low‑fidelity concepts and prototypes to explore ideas, test assumptions, and build confidence in solutions.
  • Design high‑fidelity UI and UX specifications that clearly communicate intent and requirements to engineering partners.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to inform product direction and prioritization.
  • Contribute design thinking across the platform, including research, marketing, product education, and customer success experiences.
  • Participate actively in design critiques and reviews, helping raise the overall bar for craft and quality.
  • Mentor junior or mid‑level designers through collaboration, feedback, and leading by example (without formal people management).
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience designing and shipping end‑to‑end products involving deep technical domains, complex flows, multiple scenarios, and edge cases.
  • Proven ability to empathize with and develop solutions for professional users, including Sales, Data Scientists, Client Success Engineers, and more.
  • Ability to provide design variations and rationalize your design choices.
  • Ability to organize and communicate your thoughts and motivations with different audience.
  • A keen eye for visual UI details.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive years of experience in product design roles.
  • Experience thinking beyond features to product strategy and vision.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and driving projects forward with minimal supervision.
  • Experience contributing to or working within design systems.
  • Thrives in collaborative design environments, openly sharing work, inviting feedback, and contributing constructively to design critiques and reviews.
  • Interest or experience in data visualization.
