This role will be a 12 month contract with potential to extend and/or possible conversion to FTE based on performance, budget, and ongoing business need. This role will be 100% onsite in San Jose, CA
- Great Oaks. Regular working week, Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week, 8 hours. There will be potential OT for this role. There will not be any business travel for this role.

The ideal candidate will do the following as part of this team at client:

• Support process development and wafer integration engineering team in executing experiments, logging data and troubleshooting processes.
• Adapt to changes on the fly and pursue alternate paths, when necessary, to achieve objectives.
• Operate metrology and inspection tools.
• Identify and drive resolution of problems that could impact output or quality.
• Monitor tool performance as needed and react to out-of-control situations.
• Willingness to learn, be flexible, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Work in Cleanroom and semi-cleanroom environments.

Nice to have:

• Experience with metrology tools such as, but not limited to, AFM, MFM, Interferometer, SEM, and high magnification optical microscopy.
• Experience with semiconductor/IC manufacturing or magnetic read/write head slider fabrication is a significant plus.

High school diploma or equivalent.
