Occupancy Planner

Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. (JLL) seeks an Occupancy Planner focused on lab project planning to optimize space for research and workplace environments. In this role, you will lead occupancy and space planning, develop lab test fits and scenarios, and align headcount, equipment, and workplace needs with real estate strategy. You will analyze utilization data, maintain accurate space and occupancy records, and collaborate with project managers, facility teams, and stakeholders to support build-outs, moves, and renovations while ensuring safety, compliance, and an efficient, future-ready lab portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead occupancy and space planning for lab and workplace environments across client portfolios.
• Develop lab planning scenarios, test fits, and stack plans aligned with business and research needs.
• Analyze utilization data to recommend space optimization and portfolio strategies.
• Partner with project managers, workplace strategists, and facility teams on lab build-outs and renovations.
• Maintain accurate occupancy, headcount, and space data in planning tools and systems.
• Prepare presentations and reports for client stakeholders, summarizing options, risks, and recommendations.
• Ensure lab and workplace plans align with safety, compliance, and industry standards.
• Support change management and communication related to space moves, expansions, and reconfigurations.
