Physician Hospitalist - OB

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced OB-GYN hospitalist to provide comprehensive 24/7 in-house coverage. The responsibilities include:

• Attending deliveries and executing obstetrical triage.
• Conducting thorough patient evaluations and managing care for obstetric patients.
• Assisting in surgical procedures as necessary.
• Continuously monitoring fetal well-being.
• Providing emergency room coverage for OB-GYN patients.
• Collaborating with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists to enhance program delivery.
• Engaging within a hospital that features a Level III NICU and affiliated neonatologists.
• Participating in a community backup call system for gynecologic surgeries.

This is a permanent, full-time position that necessitates residency within the immediate vicinity, with potential relocation required.

• Candidates must be Board Eligible (within five years post-residency) or Board Certified in OB/GYN (REQUIRED).
• A California medical license is mandatory (or willingness to secure one).
• A clean malpractice history and license record is highly preferred.
• Prior experience in OB Hospitalist roles is advantageous.
