Licenses:
Active CA State License

Board Certified or Board Eligible (Certification required within 5 years of residency)

Ability to treat developmental disability + mental health population

Qualifications:

Must enter hours in Vemsta platform; strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse populations

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform psychiatric assessments, evaluations, and MSEs, providing DSM-based diagnoses

Provide ongoing medication management for assigned patients

Use the clinic’s electronic health record system and follow Santa Clara County Psychiatric Medical Guidelines

Collaborate with medical director, nurses, clinicians, and case managers for coordinated care

Obtain and review diagnostic data, labs, and consultations relevant to patient treatment

Prepare detailed written reports, documentation, diagnoses, and summaries as required

Contribute to individualized treatment planning with clinical staff

Provide psychiatric services in outpatient clinics via telehealth and in person

Offer consultation and peer guidance to psychiatrists and therapists as needed

Consult with clinic leadership regarding policies and treatment-related issues

Participate in quality assurance, quality improvement, and performance improvement activities

Advise families and caregivers regarding diagnoses, treatment, and intersection with developmental disabilities

Prepare legal and court-related documents as necessary
