ED provides 2,600 diverse students with the skills to help them be productive, income-earning, and tax-paying contributors to Silicon Valley. Metro

ED collaborates with designated districts to provide comprehensive educational opportunities for adults and high school students. Through our Silicon Valley Career Technical Education program, we offer career technical education to high school students and, on a space-available basis, to adult students in the following districts:
Campbell Union High School District, East Side Union High School District, Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District, Milpitas Unified School District, San Jose Unified School District, and Santa Clara Unified School District. Additionally, our Silicon Valley Adult Education provides courses for the San Jose Unified School District.

A minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience is desirable but not necessary, preferably in Career Technical Education and/or Regional Occupational Programs (ROP)
• Experience working with industry specific field educational programs, and/or site supervising and managing CTE instructional programs is desired
• Minimum of three (3) years of industry experience
• Must have, or be willing to obtain, a CTE Teaching credential

A. Step placement is based on verified years of teaching experience.

- Annual salary stipend for BA/BS degree ($2,741), and MA degree ($3,100). To complete the application process, the following items will be needed:
