Special Education Teacher; SDC & RSP – San Jose, CA

Overview

We’re seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to support kidos in San Jose, CA. These openings include one SDC classroom position (grades 1–3) and one RSP position (grades 7–8). Both roles offer consistent weekly hours, supportive teams, and the opportunity to make an immediate impact.

• Caseload: ~12 kidos
• Schedule:
  
  6–8 hours per week, Monday–Friday
• Start Date:

  6–8 hours per week, Monday–Friday
• Start Date:

• End Date:
  May 31, 2025 (possible extension through end of school year)

• Pay Rate: $70/hr
• Location:
  
  San Jose, CA
• Travel:
  Not required

• Provide specialized academic support and instruction aligned with student IEP goals
• Collaborate with support staff and administrators to promote student success
• Deliver accommodations and modifications as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Monitor progress and adjust instruction as appropriate

• Active CA Education Specialist Credential
• Experience supporting kidos in SDC or RSP settings
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Passion for serving diverse learners
