School Psychologist – San Jose, CA

Pay: $70–$80 per hour

Full-time

Duration: ASAP start through the end of the 2025–2026 school year

Setting:
School-based, onsite

We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered School Psychologist to join a district in San Jose, CA for the remainder of the current school year and the full 2025–2026 school year. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.

• Conduct psycho educational assessments, re-evaluations, and functional behavior assessments.

• Provide counseling, behavior intervention, and crisis support as needed.

• Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise in eligibility, goals, accommodations, and data interpretation.

• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support student academic, social, and emotional development.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines.

• Support MTSS/RTI processes through data analysis and consultation.

• Consult with families and staff regarding behavioral and educational needs.

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.

• Valid California PPS Credential in School Psychology.

• Prior school-based experience preferred.

• Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work onsite in San Jose, CA.

• Hourly Rate: $70–$80 per hour, depending on experience.
