We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team! The East Side Union High School District (ESUHSD) seeks a skilled and passionate visual designer to write for one or more of the district's high schools Marching Band and/or Winter Season programs. Throughout the production, the coach will work alongside the credentialed teacher at District High School, supporting students of varying skill levels.
This role includes design, rehearsal preparation, instruction, and performance support at one or more school sites, contributing to a high-quality production for a diverse student body.
- Experience with designing visual representations related to Marching Band, Winter Guard and Winter Percussion
- Experience teaching high school-aged students
- Experience teaching small and large group instruction

Other Duties/Responsibilities:
Seasonal tied to a specific season or production. Marching Band = One season/production. Winter Percussion = One season/production.
- Designer of the visual presentation for the season specific production
- Attend and assist director at rehearsals as scheduled with the director
- Attend performances as scheduled with the director
- Stay advised as to the director's goals and agendas as to the timelines/deadlines for materials to be produced and/or learned by the students
- Foster student creativity, discipline, and teamwork in a culturally responsive and inclusive environment
