Position:
Part‑time Lecturer (Pool) – Undergraduate and Graduate courses in Biology and related fields.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses across core biological disciplines including anatomy, botany, ecology, evolution, genetics, insect biology, marine biology, microbiology, molecular biology, and physiology.
- Develop and supply inclusive course materials, teaching strategies and advisement that address the needs of a diverse student population.
- Organize all classes within the Canvas Learning Management System and deliver all scheduled sessions—in asynchronous, synchronous, bichronous, in‑person, or hybrid modes—throughout the semester.
- Ph.D. in biology or related field strongly recommended; M.S. in biology with teaching experience also considered.
- Good oral and written communication skills and a commitment to student learning and team performance.
- Demonstrated awareness, sensitivity, and experience with multicultural student populations.
- L‑A / Range 2 – $5,507 – $5,959 per month.
- L‑B / Range 3 – $6,221 – $7,481 per month.
- L‑C / Range 4 – $6,825 – $9,431 per month.
- L‑D / Range 5 – $8,593 – $10,347 per month.
Compensation and salary placement are determined by qualifications and experience. Part‑time rates are prorated and received in six monthly payments per semester.
