Creative Educator for Visual and Performing Arts

Are you a creative educator who believes the arts can bring learning to life? Discovery Charter School is seeking a part-time teacher to design and deliver engaging experiences in visual arts, performing arts, creative expression, and interdisciplinary projects for TK-8th-grade students. In this unique role, you will:
Push into classrooms and work directly with students each week. Collaborate with teachers to integrate the arts into core academic learning. Inspire creativity, imagination, problem-solving, and student voice. Design engaging experiences that may include visual arts, theater, music, movement, design thinking, maker projects, storytelling, and other creative opportunities. Help cultivate a school culture where creativity, innovation, and joyful learning thrive.

We are looking for someone who brings fresh ideas, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for helping students discover their creative potential. If you are excited to build something meaningful and think outside the box, we would love to hear from you. Valid California Teaching Credential required, and a passion for arts integration, project-based learning, and student-centered education.
