Elementary Teacher

Overview

Challenger School is looking for enthusiastic, intelligent individuals to join the elementary school teams across our California campuses. As a teacher, you will teach responsibility, self-confidence, and independence along with grammar and math. Our classes are fast paced, fun, and follow a proven curriculum.

Specific teaching degrees or certificates are not required. You will start in our paid teacher training program where you will learn our unique curriculum and teaching styles through video instruction, manual study, teacher observations, and hands‑on classroom experience. Upon successful completion you will receive a classroom of your own to teach and manage. Candidates interested in specialized subjects such as computer, P.E., art, or middle school teaching may indicate their preference in a cover letter.

• Thoroughly learn Challenger’s curriculum, teaching methods, and philosophy
• Maintain a safe and productive classroom environment
• Prepare lesson plans and teach daily classes
• Grade daily student homework assignments
• Consistently attend required training and teaching days
• Communicate regularly with parents and administrators on student progress
• Work patiently with students, parents, and coworkers

• 4‑year college bachelor’s degree or equivalent – can be close to completion at hire
• Ability to pass a background check
