• Develop and present lessons to students; evaluate student progress; maintain proper classroom control and learning environment; assist in curriculum development.
• Develop and present lessons that demonstrate preparation consistent with the approved course of study.
• Develop and present lessons where performance objectives/competencies are understood by the student and are supportive of district goals.
• Evaluate student progress based primarily on achievement of performance objectives/competencies.
• Use a variety of instructional techniques and materials appropriate to the course and adult students.
• Maintain current and accurate records of student attendance and progress.
• Demonstrate and promote punctuality.
• Participate with fellow staff members in the development and implementation of curriculum and instruction.
• Keep up to date in subject area and continually work to improve instructional techniques.
• Adhere to approved course of study policies and procedures.

• Appropriate California teaching credential.

A teaching credential issued by the state of California authorizing the teaching of the subject is requested. Please upload the required documents to your online application.
