Transitional Kindergarten Assistant
Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Coordinator Educational Services, assist teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students in a transitional kindergarten classroom; supervise students and assist in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of lesson plans; provide routine clerical support.
Requirements / QualificationsTransitional Kindergarten setting:
Graduation from high school required; completion of six semester units in early childhood education or child development preferred.
Experience:
One year of experience working with young children in an educational or enrichment setting; sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above. Licenses and Other Requirements:
First Aid/CPR certification
