For this project, Open Train AI is the hiring and contracting organization seeking classroom expertise to help teach AI systems how elementary teaching is described in the real world.

AI systems learn from examples and human feedback. Elementary teaching is a core domain where practical, classroom-level detail matters - your real-world descriptions help models understand instruction, lesson planning, and classroom dynamics.

This project is a chance to shape how educational roles are represented in training data while earning paid, flexible work that fits alongside your teaching schedule.

You will take part in an occupation study focused on how elementary school teaching work is described. The primary activity is a one-time online survey or interview about your day-to-day responsibilities and practices.

There may be optional, paid follow-up work: a short additional survey, a small task, or a brief interview offered separately and compensated at the same hourly rate.

• Complete a one-time online survey or live interview describing your elementary teaching duties and routines.
• Provide concrete examples about academic instruction, social skill development, lesson planning, and classroom management.
• Optionally participate in a follow-up survey, short task, or brief interview if invited; follow-ups are paid separately.

• Minimum 4+ years teaching elementary school (excluding special education).
• Currently working as an elementary teacher or recent experience within the last 12 months.
• Direct knowledge of lesson planning, instruction, and classroom management.
• Must be based in the United States and able to work as an independent contractor.

Compensation: $30 per hour (_HOUR). Follow-up tasks and interviews are paid separately at the same hourly rate unless stated otherwise.

Time commitment: primary activity is a one-time survey or interview. The listing indicates availability of 20+ hours/week for participants who may be invited to additional tasks; you should be able to accommodate any agreed follow-ups.

Data type: text responses. Label/task types for this project include question-answering and evaluation/rating of responses.
