Preschool Teacher Child Development Center

We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team at the MAOF Child Care and Development Centers in San Jose, CA. This role requires an individual who is passionate about early childhood education and can create a nurturing environment for children aged 5 years old.

Responsibilities include planning and implementing educational activities that promote social, intellectual, physical, and emotional development. You will integrate various learning elements into daily routines, focusing on subjects such as science, math, art, and language. Ensuring child safety, conducting health checks, and maintaining daily records are also key duties.

The successful candidate will meet with parents to discuss their child's progress, involve them in the educational process, and support child-rearing responsibilities. Supervising aides and volunteers, organizing classrooms, and participating in staff meetings are part of this role. You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional variations as needed.

Qualifications include a valid Teacher Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, a minimum of one year of experience in a preschool setting, and 24 semester units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development. If working with infants and toddlers, 3 Infant and Toddler units are required.
