Description

Elite Food Safety Training is the industry standard when it comes to food safety, and we strive to be a one-stop shop for all food safety training needs! We partner with our students to keep the public safe, and we rely on our knowledgeable Instructors to guide them along the way. Our Instructors have opportunities to continue their education and are always staying on top of the current industry regulations.

We are currently looking for new Instructors to add to our team! Our Food Safety Instructors' main role is teaching Serv Safe's food safety material over the course of a 6-hour class and then proctoring a 2-hour exam in order for students to obtain their Serv Safe Manager's Certifications. However, there are more opportunities as an Instructor (if interested), such as providing alcohol training or auditing services.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Serv Safe Manager's Certification (required)
• Serv Safe Instructor/Proctor Certification (required after job offer)
• Knowledge of the food industry
• Training or teaching experience (preferred)
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Must fluently speak English and Spanish (will be teaching courses in Spanish)
• Must be an excellent communicator
• Must be reliable and prompt
• Must be flexible and available to do some traveling
• Must pass a background check!

We provide training and support to ensure our Instructors' success.

This is a 1099 contract position. There are no benefits and pay is based on an agreed upon rate.
