The Teacher Aide supports the daily operations of the program by assisting teaching staff with classroom supervision, routines and general care of the children. Under the direction of the Childcare Director and the Associate Teacher, the Teacher Aide helps maintain a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment.
This role focuses on providing hands‑on support during classroom activities, supervising children, assisting with daily care routines, and helping maintain a clean, organized and sanitary classroom environment. The Teacher Aide plays a key role in supporting children’s safety, and well‑being while modeling positive, Christ‑centered behavior. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient, and caring, with a willingness to learn and follow direction.
The Teacher Aide is a full‑time non‑exempt position wrapped up in a Christian environment that values Teamwork, Accountability, Humility, Innovation, and Joy.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma with 6 semester units in Early Childhood Education.
- At least two years of experience working, or volunteering, in a childcare program.
- Good interpersonal skills, with proven ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Good written communication skills, experience writing reports and or policies and computer literate with proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid CA Driver’s License with a clean record
