This full‑time position is designed for recent graduates and the class of 2026 who are passionate about education and eager to grow into future leaders in the industry. The successful candidate will work alongside our Silicon Valley teaching team while also focusing on the operational aspects of our business. You will be supported to become a great math educator and provide world‑class teaching services to PreK‑9th graders of all levels.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in Think Academy’s business functions, including operations and marketing, and may become a branch director, department manager, or play a key role in our global expansion into emerging markets.
- Be assigned to a grade department (lower, middle, or higher school)
- Plan and execute teaching activities, including:
- Teaching short‑term and long‑term group classes in a classroom setting
- Holding office hours and providing 1‑on‑1 help
- Grading students’ homework and assignments
- Develop tailored mathematical learning plans based on each student’s abilities and goals, and facilitate their enrollment in short‑term or long‑term courses
- Annual package: $70,000 – $90,000 (includes semesterly performance bonus and an administrative rate)
- Performance bonus up to 15–30% each semester
- Supportive team environment and professional development opportunities
- Teach 6–7 classes (12–14 hours/week) to start
- Weekday office hours (Wed–Fri morning) for preparation, training, parent and student communication, and team meetings
- Weekday afternoon teaching at 4:00 pm
- Weekend teaching (Saturday and Sunday)
- Open to all majors – we provide training and professional growth programs
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus but not required
- Passionate about the education industry and motivated to inspire students; patient and empathetic toward students and parents
- Excellent organizational skills and a strong sense of responsibility
- Team player who collaborates effectively with teachers and staff
- Valid work authorization to start (no sponsorship available)
