Special Education Teacher, Special Needs / Learning Disabilities

Qualifications:
- California Special Education Teaching Credential (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience creating and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong understanding of a range of disabilities and effective instructional accommodations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Adaptability, patience, and a student-centered mindset
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized lessons and interventions for students with diverse learning needs
- Assess student progress and update IEP goals, maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and specialists to support inclusive learning environments
- Communicate regularly with families to share student progress and resources
- Foster an encouraging, safe, and structured classroom atmosphere
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and staff activities as needed

Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
