Position DescriptionThe Marketing and Business Analytics Department at San José State University is pleased to announce a search for a tenure-track faculty position in Business Analytics at the Assistant Professor level. Applicants should be interested in research and teaching in areas such as AI in Business Analytics, Generative AI and Business Decision-Making, Optimization, Predictive Analytics, Stochastic Processes, Data Mining, and Data Visualization.
Teaching will be at the undergraduate and Masters level.

Required Qualifications- A doctorate from an accredited university. A doctoral degree must be fully awarded by the date of appointment in order to start, but preferably by May 31, 2027.

- Demonstrated record of, or potential for, scholarly publications and the development of a strong scholarly record commensurate with rank and suitable for advancement.
