Civil Design Engineer

Overview

We're partnered with a reputable Civil Engineering firm that's seeking a motivated Civil Design Engineer to join their growing team. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer who's passionate about site design and eager to contribute to a wide range of land development projects from concept through construction.

You'll work closely with project managers, senior engineers, and other disciplines to develop practical, efficient designs for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

• Prepare civil engineering designs and construction documents for land development projects
• Assist with site layout, grading, drainage, and utility design
• Develop and revise plans using AutoCAD
• Support permitting and agency submittals
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and review agencies
• Perform design calculations and assist with technical reports
• Incorporate feedback from senior engineers and project managers

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of civil engineering fundamentals related to land development
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Internship or professional experience in land development or site design
• Familiarity with local codes, zoning, and permitting processes
• Experience with grading, stormwater, or utility design
