Job Summary

Supermicro is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to conduct failure analysis of Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) products, handle Engineering Change Order (ECO) tasks, and oversee product conversion jobs. The candidate will perform daily repairs, rework, and modifications, diagnose defective PCBA products, isolate and analyze root causes, execute appropriate tests to validate fixes, and prepare reports for management to improve product quality.

The role requires efficient work in a fast‑paced production environment to meet dynamic sales demand.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily failure analysis of defective PCBA products from the Production Line.
  • Fix issues and execute appropriate tests to validate results.
  • Provide reports for Production Management team product quality reviews.
  • Collaborate with R&D and QA teams to diagnose and analyze root causes of defective PCBA products for quality improvement.
  • Implement Engineering Change Order (ECO) tasks, product conversion, and modification to meet production schedules.
  • Follow ISO guidelines to promote industrial work safety, quality, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability.
  • Support assigned tasks as requested by the company to help management achieve business targets.
Qualifications
  • BS/MS in Electronic or Electrical Engineering.
  • Ability to read and understand the Bill of Material and electronic parts data sheets.
  • Understanding of electronic schematic diagrams is advantageous.
  • Holding IPC-A-610 or IPC-7711/7721 certifications is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with technical tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, or diagnostic software.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in production or industry is desirable.
  • Junior position available for candidates interested in PCBA troubleshooting, repair, and rework careers.
  • Basic or familiar with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills in English, including written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks; willingness to occasionally provide support beyond regular hours for business needs.
Salary Range

$73,500 - $100,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
