Hardware Engineer

Seeking a Hardware Engineer specializing in PCBA design, embedded systems, and FPGA integration to support manufacturability, supplier readiness, and hardware lifecycle management.

This role acts as a technical bridge between engineering design teams and supply chain operations to ensure that boards, embedded components, and electronics assemblies are production-ready, cost-effective, and robust for medical device manufacturing.

• Oversee PCBA/PCB designs moving from R&D to manufacturing.
• Lead DFM/DFT reviews for scalable, reliable production.
• Evaluate and guide suppliers on FPGA, embedded, and PCBA capabilities.
• Partner with sourcing, ME, and quality to qualify suppliers and processes.
• Troubleshoot component failures, yield issues, and firmware/hardware interactions.
• Own sustaining engineering for embedded and PCBA components across OTTAVA operations.
• Provide embedded support and verification; use Python for automation and testing.
• Ensure compliance with medical‑device standards and documentation.

• Hands‑on PCBA/PCB design experience. (required)
• FPGA development or integration knowledge.
• Strong embedded systems understanding.
• Python proficiency for test automation.
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Familiarity with electronics manufacturing and supplier engagement.
• Experience in medical devices or regulated hardware.

• Ability to work across design, supply chain, and operations.
• Strong system‑level thinking.
• Skilled in supplier technical reviews and diagnosing PCBA/embedded failures.
